How to keep healthy over the Festive Season

It’s the festive season. Christmas parties, work parties. Sugar, alcohol, late nights, deadlines. It’s all systems go in the preparation to Christmas!

Here’s our top 3 tips for keeping healthy over the festive season!
  • 1. Block out some nights at home in your diary. If your diary looks completely chocka’s over the next few weeks, block out some times now so that you get a couple of rest nights. If you can, block out a few hours each weekend too.
  • 2. Start the day with lemon juice in warm water. This will help detoxify your liver & help any over indulgences.
  • 3. Minimize the amount of chocolate, sugar & alcohol. No one wants to be a Christmas Gringe, so enjoy the party, but also enjoy your health! Set an intention of how much you will drink or eat before you go to the party & stick to it. If you are mindful of how much you’re consuming, chances are, it won’t get out of control.
