The philosophies and values of Clinical Nutrition lie within supporting the whole person and treating the root cause of a presenting health complaint rather than just treating signs and symptoms.
Our Clinical Nutritionist believes that there is not a ‘one size fits all’ approach to health and everyone is biochemically individual, therefore treatment plans need to be personalised to the individual. Our practitioners will provide you with the latest scientific research about nutritional medicine and a simple, attainable, non-restrictive approach to health care that does not leave you feeling overwhelmed and will be centred around amazing and delicious wholefood nutrition and evidence-based supplementation.
Understanding the root cause allows for personalised treatment plans and specific understandings of health concerns.
How can I start?
To start with an initial consultation will involve a one-hour detailed discussion with the individual about their lifestyle, medical history, current health concerns and a review of any current supplements and a full comprehensive diet analysis and evaluation. Functional pathology testing will be discussed if appropriate to add additional understanding of underlying imbalances.
A treatment plan will be tailored to suit the individual to target specific health goals and will include nutritional medicine prescriptions, diet, and lifestyle advice.
If you are already a patient of the clinic, our Clinical Nutritionist will be available to further support your Naturopathic treatment plan by providing an additional meal plan and recipe consultation. This will give you an extensive meal plan with recipes to support your current treatment plan and ensure that you have plenty of delicious wholefood tailored meals to enjoy.
